Most companies in the region depended on hiring experts from other states, while local youth lacked the technical training and opportunities to enter this growing field.

To bridge this gap, Suraksha India Institute of Fire & Safety (SIIFS) was established in 2024. The institute is managed under the banner of the Bonti Youth Empowerment Foundation, which is dedicated to empowering the youth through skill development and job-oriented education.

SIIFS offers comprehensive training programs in: Fire Safety, Industrial Safety, Hazard & Risk Management, Emergency Planning & Disaster Management.

The curriculum is designed to meet the increasing demand for skilled safety professionals in the Northeast and beyond. 100% job assistance is provided to all students.

Practical learning is at the core of SIIFS training. Students get hands-on experience with: Fire Extinguishers, Hydrants, Sprinkler Systems, Emergency Rescue Tools etc.

They also participate in: Fire Drills, Mock Rescue Operations, Safety Audits, Hazard Identification Exercises

Trainers include retired experts from Government and Semi-Government fire services, along with professionals from diverse backgrounds, bringing valuable real-life experience and practical insights to every training session.

SIIFS offers additional, first-of-its-kind training modules in India, including:

• Swimming Training - For rescue operations during floods and other water-based rescue
• Snake Rescue & Identification -For field rescues in forests, godowns etc
• Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) Training -To qualify as Driver-Cum-Pump Operators
• Social Service Activities - Develop leadership and character while serving your community!

These unique skills make SIIFS students highly versatile and field-ready.

Students are trained using modern equipment. All programs follow national and international standards, with recognition from: Ministry of Labour & Employment, UGC and AICTE.
